2024: Sharing a Cell Phone. Taken at Pritzker Pavilion in Milennium Park in Chicago.
The concert season is almost over, but we made it to Pritzker Pavilion for the Selena tribute. It was a beautiful evening, the music was great, and we enjoyed it all with great friends. I took this photo (and others) of the family next to us. I watched her keep her two children occupied and having fun the entire evening, and it looked like she enjoyed it as much as they did. By the end of the evening, the kids seem worn out, but she was up dancing with the rest of us.
2020: Only a party. Taken on Ainslie east of Central Park in Chicago. There have been so many protests that when Mony and I were taking a walk and saw people carry signs we followed them to see what was happening. Only after a few minutes did we realize that it was a family and the signs were for someone’s socially distanced birthday -- a different sign of the times.2018: Laundry day.
