2024: And How Do I Use the Mini Van? Taken at the Democratic Party offices on Niles Ave in St. Joseph, MI

We went canvassing in the rain today in Benton Harbor, MI. It was raining too hard to take out my camera when we were out knocking doors. It was hard enough to manage my phone, umbrella, lit, and the new volunteers I was helping. I did get some photos before we went out. Although I love the mini-van, given the demographics, some of our volunteers are challenged by it.

2020: The reading nook. Taken on Hamlin between Argyle and Ainslie in Chicago. The house is slowly coming back together and this is one of our favorite spots.
2018: Fall Softball. Taken at the Elgin Sports Complex just south of Hwy 20 and east of McLean Blvd in Elgin, IL. Now for a change of pace. Fall softball is great. Temperatures are cooler and everyone is relaxed. This was the first game with Julia’s new travel team. I like everything about it including the sounds of the the balls being hit or going into gloves during warm ups; the cleats striking the gravel as the girls walk towards the diamond, and the speed and athleticism of the players now that it is 18U.
