2024: Look at Me. Taken on Lawrence Ave. near Sacramento in Chicago.

The photo above and the one below go together. As I was walking east on Lawrence, I saw someone working on the windows and wanted to get close to get his photo. But while he didn't look my way, this little boy, who I assume was his son, was totally watching me. So I took his photo – the one above. Then after I walked past I turned around to see if I could get a photo of the father – and his son again totally stole the show, which made us both laugh.

2020: Peace. Taken on Lawrence Ave between Hamlin and Central Park in Chicago. There have been a number of shootings and killings in Albany Park over the past several weeks. Today there was a rally and march for peace from Ronan Park to Pulaski along Lawrence.
2018: Tending the store. Taken on 37th Ave between 84th and 74th Streets in Jackson Heights, NY. One of the great things about 37th Street and much of NYC is how much of the business and shopping takes place out on the street -- and that is especially true when it comes to fruit, flowers and toys.
2016: Waiting for the train to pass. Taken on Kedzie at the EL tracks just south of Leland in Chicago
2012: Early morning vendor. Taken at the farmers market on Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis, MN
