2024: Anywhere is Good When There is Ice Cream. Taken on Lincoln north of Sunnyside in Chicago.

The Thursday evening farmers market was happening in the parking lot – but they camped out to eat ice cream right on the sidewalk.

2020: RBG. Taken at the Federal Courts Building on Dearborn between Jackson and Adams in Chicago. I was downtown for a small protest against the CPD the day after RBG died. The protest was at Federal Plaza and across the street at the Federal Courts Building this small memorial was set up. We learned of her death last night and all I could do was drop my phone. With the election less than two months away, it is hard to imagine worse news. Given time, I will likely appreciate all she did, but right now I can’t understand why she didn’t retire when Obama could have named her replacement.
2018: Watching the world. Taken on 74th Street between 37th Ave and Roosevelt in Jackson Heights, NY. It was getting dark and 74th Street is always full of people. Light from a storefront illuminated them as I walked up behind.
2016: Working together. Taken on Hamlin just north of Lawrence in Chicago.
2012: Say that again. Taken at O'Hare Airport.
