2024: There is Always a Book. Taken at Welles Park on Sunnyside west of Lincoln in Chicago.

I didn't have much time and wasn't feeling very inspired today. But it is always great to go a photo of someone reading.

2020: Long day. Taken on Narragansett just north of North Ave in Chicago
2018: Would you mind tying my shoe? Taken on 37th Ave. just east of 87th street in Jackson Heights in Brooklyn NY. This is the beginning of a week in NYC taking photos of workers at the wastewater treatment plants of the Department of Environmental Protection. So after taking 700 photos during the day, I wasn’t sure how I was going to get photos to post here. However, I was staying in Jackson Heights where you only have to walk a few blocks to see photos I wanted to make. Here as I walked down 37th Ave., this guy was unloading a truck at a corner store. Next thing I know he was tying this woman’s shoe. She had an umbrella and headphones. Maybe he knew her -- but I don’t think so.
2016: All kinds of photographers. Taken overlooking the Falls in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
2012: Reading waiting for the Metro. Taken at the DuPont Circle stop of the Metro in Washington DC
