Power to the People

Last Monday, a coalition of organizations organized a rally to protest the police murder of Tyre Nichols and Manuel "Tortuguita" Teron. There has been too much police violence and too many murders – and too many times that we have had to rally and march to demand justice. In Chicago the fight for police accountability and civilian oversight of the police has been led by the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression and by Frank Chapman. Here are just a few of the photos of Frank and only a few of marches, rallies and protests that he has led or spoken at – always closing with "Power to the People." Even the photos where he is smiling and relaxing were taken at CAARPR events.
