2024: Cleaning Time. Taken on Jefferson north of Randolph in Chicago

Mony and I enjoyed a wonderful early dinner at Avec before heading off to a fundraiser. We had about 15 minutes on the meter after dinner, so we took a short walk. We walked past this worker who was patiently waiting for everyone to pass by so he could resume cleaning. We walked past him. Then when it was time to come back, I wanted to stay on the same side of the street to see if I could get a better photo. Again, he was just standing there while we and a bunch of other people walked by. However, this time, we were the last ones, so as he started cleaning after we were past, and I then approached him from behind him closer to the street where I wouldn't interfere with his work and finally got a photo.

2020: Only a thermometer. Taken on Niles Ave in St. Joseph, MI. Temperature checks happen a lot of places, including at the check in before you go out canvassing.
2018: Books are great. Taken at Horizon Books on Front Street just east of Cass in Traverse City, Michigan. I am not sure why all of these kids were not in school, but they were certainly enjoying the bookstore. They made themselves right at home sitting and lying on the floor as the read.
2016: One way to carry a mattress. Taken on Lawrence just west of Hamlin in Chicago
2012: That is one pink umbrella. Taken on Belmont and Racine
