2024: Nothing Is Scarier Than Trump 2. Taken on Sunnyside east of Lincoln in Chicago

Four years ago yesterday I posted a photo of this banner hanging at our home on Hamlin. Mony and I had just painted the banner since activism should be fun sometimes too. Then when the election ended, we put the banner away in a box of things we want to keep for posterity (whatever that means). But here we are again – once again approaching Haloween, once again having to defeat Trump, and once again displaying our banner. This is so unbelievable to me. All we had to do to update the banner was to change the year to 2025, put "democracy" on the tombstone instead of the number of COVID deaths, and change "Vote Him Out Now" to "Keep Him Out Now." May we be as successful in 2024 as we were in 2020!

2020: Ladders. Taken on Lawrence between Avers and Springfield in Chicago. They were working on the roof of the Albany Park Auto Clinic and a truck parked on the street had ladders on top. Putting them together, I got this shot.
2018: March to the Polls. Taken during the Women’s March on Jackson between Michigan and Dearborn in Chicago. It was hard to pick one photo from the many that took today. There were angrier ones and more creative ones, and even better photos. But this one made me smile -- so I picked it. PS -- This is not the photo that I remember from that day. There is another photo that I have shown at a gallery and sold, but this is the one that may it back in 2018.
2016: The sidewalk is clean. Taken in front of the Admiral Theater on Lawrence at Harding in Chicago
2012: Waiting for the bridge to go up. Taken at the Lake Street Bridge at Canal
