2024: A Feast. Taken on Sunnyside east of Lincoln in Chicago.

The best part of Thanksgiving is spending the whole day in the kitchen cooking with my wife. Mony and I cooked all day, and this was the result. The salads were on the dining room table and the pie is hiding on the counter – and they were my primary contributions. So almost all of this was Mony's work.

2020: Let’s see that other tree again. Taken on Chicago Ave. just east of Harlem in Oak Park, IL. Some of us are able to quickly select our tree -- but others have to see every one. I think this family fell into that latter category as the worker at the tree lot had to shake each tree so its branches would fall.
2018: A tree grows in Queens. Taken on 87th Street in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY. Ever since I have read The Overstory trees don’t look the same. As I walked through Queens I couldn’t help but wonder about “city trees.”
2016: It isn’t that cold yet. Taken on Lawrence and Drake in Chicago
2012: Discussing the news of the day. Taken on Connecticut Ave just South of Dupont Circle in Washington DC
