2024: Ready to Continue the Fight. Taken at The Hideout on Wabansia east of Elston in Chicago.

Obviously, I didn't take this photo. Betty took it with my camera, and for a change I liked a photo of me – so here it is. A coalition of national organizations under the banner of "We Are Worth Fighting For" encouraged organizations and individuals to host community gatherings to discuss the results of the election and to begin planning for the fight ahead. Indivisible Chicago hosted the first of several gatherings tonight with more than 30 others joining us. So here I am still resisting and ready to continue the fight.

2020: Flowers are always wonderful. Taken on Oak Park Ave. at Harrison in Oak Park, IL. This Thanksgiving is different for so many people who are foregoing big dinners, as they should. But flowers are still popular as there were few left when we went on Wednesday afternoon.
2018: Finishing Understory under my trees. Taken at home on Hamlin in Chicago. I left MI early to successfully beat the snow storm to Chicago. Once I got home, instead of braving hard rain turning into blizzard-like snow, I finished by book Understory by Richard Powers. Fittingly, I read it under some of my plants. I ask myself what the books asks us: “What is the single best thing a person can do for tomorrow’s world?”
2016:You want me to put this where? Taken in front of the Lake Street Theater on Lake Street just west of Marion in Oak Park, IL
2012: Urban Magic at Times Square. Taken on 7th Ave at 43rd Street in New York City
