November 21

I had the best of intentions to go out and get a decent photo today. When it snowed, I figured – that will make for a good photo. And when it was getting late in the day, I figured – the snow will make things brighter. And when it got really windy, I figured – at least it's not that cold. And when it started to rain, I figured – I would shovel and then see. And when I went to get the shovel and touched the umbrella that was weighted down by the snow and it collapsed on top of me --well I was just grateful not to have been really hurt. I even had to call Chistopher, who was the only one home, to come out and help me lift the umbrella so I could get my leg out. Clearly I was not meant to get a decent photo, so here is the aftermath of the umbrella. You can just imagine me lying underneath it, which if I could have taken it would have made for a better photo! Hopefully, I will have more success tomorrow.

2020: Sweeping. Taken on Clarence Ave. just south of Garfield in Oak Park, IL. The Oak Park Conservatory is closed, but outside they are selling holiday greens. We went by to see what they had and she was out sweeping.
2018: Trying to find a safe place. Taken in the car somewhere between Chicago and Traverse City, MI. Poor Julia (and poor Sylar too). The car causes Skylar great anxiety -- so she tries to either sit on Julia’s lap or at this time to fit herself behind Julia. Skylar weighs 75 pounds. She does not fit either place.
2016: Crossing for school. Taken on Lawrence and Spaulding in Chicago
2012: The tunnel that is the Metro. Taken at the DuPont Circle stop of the Metro in Washington DC.
