Another Friday volunteering as Piping Plover Monitors – and so another photo from Montrose Beach.

2020: Finding Peace. Taken in Gompers Park just west of Pulaski and south of Foster in Chicago. There were other photos that I could have taken today. We awoke to news of police violence, protests, fires, and looting in some neighborhoods. But it was a beautiful day. Walking through Gompers Park, she seemed to be seeking peace with the trees.

2016: The smokebush. Taken in the backyard on Hamlin in Chicago. This is what happens when I work all day and then a big storm hits at 4:30 and it rains until after dark. I ran out and took this photo right before the storm started.
