2024: The Unitarian Little Library. Taken at Second Unitarian Church on Barry west of Clark in Chiago

Mony says that the little library is not Unitarian, but it is hosted by the Second Unitarian Church. There is a much bigger library inside, but she checked out the books here as we all left today's service.

2020: Construction never ends. Taken on Western Ave just north of Diversey Ave in Chicago. Road construction seems to be everywhere. It is that season and maybe it is more obvious with less other traffic - or maybe they are doing more these days.
2018: My first porcupine. Taken on a hike in Sleeping Bear Dunes from Treat Rd in Leelanau County, Michigan. I had a number of photos to choose from today, and probably some of them were better than this one. However, I have never seen a wild porcupine before (at least one that was alive), and I had such a clear view of this one. I was walking along a bluff and the trees tops from below were at eye level. That made for great birding including indigo buntings, a scarlet tanager, and warblers -- then I saw my porcupine. He didn’t do much but turn his head while I sat there for about a half and hour. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was still there tomorrow!
2016: Enjoying work early in the morning. Taken on Jefferson in front of the Renaissance Center in Detroit, MI. It was 6:30am and I think he was smiling before I ever lifted the camera.
2012: Working with a hammer. Taken on Chicago Ave just north of Dempster in Evanston
