2024: Hiding from the Rain. Taken at the Sulzer Library at Lincoln and Agatite Ave. in Chicago.

It was raining when I ran out to run some errands. There were a few people out with umbrellas, but she opted to hideout from the rain by using the Library window for shelter. This is one of the rare occassions when none of the earlier photos have any people!

2020: Over Lake Michigan. Taken along Good Harbor Bay north of Bohemian Rd. in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Leelanau County, MI
2018: Going back in time. Taken along the Pyramid Point Trail in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Leelanau County, Michigan. I finally made it back to Michigan and it was like going back in time -- not going back years, decades or centuries, just going back a week or two. In Chicago everything is deep green and the trees are fully leafed out. As I drove north it was like I was turning back the calendar and seeing the trees, shrubs and flowers like they were two weeks ago. It is kind of like a spring “do over.” When else can you rewind the calendar?
2016: Ready to burst open. Taken in my backyard on Hamlin in Chicago. I love the hawthorn tree just before the blossoms open. On the whole tree this was the only one open when I took this photo
2012: Under the El Tracks. Taken at Lincoln and Lill Street
