Mariachi Sirenas

The Mariachi Sirenas is an all women Mariachi band here in Chicago. Mariachi bands were traditionally only men – so this band turns that on its head. I was introduced to them when they sang in the back yard in Oak Park during the COVID lockdown for Emma's 18th birthday. We then had an opportunity to hear them a few times – and then had them perform at our wedding. I couldn't take much in the way of photos then – but this year Mony and I had them come to our house and perform for our friends and family at our Holiday/ Mony's Birthday party. And, this time I had my camera. All of these photos were taken on December 9, 2023 at our home.
