March 27

Sometimes I see a good photo but I am a block away and there is no way to take it. That happened today when I saw a young boy standing on the ledge of the library looking in. By the time I got there, the boy was long gone, but these two girls ran up to take a look – and gave me the opportunity for a photo that I had thought I missed.

2020: Running errands. Taken on Roosevelt between Austin and Ridgeway in Oak Park, IL. I had a conversation with him (from 6 feet away). We agreed that it was important to be safe but to get out of the house too. He asked me to take his photo as he was putting things onto his bike. Then I took this as he rode away.
2018: Not the easiest way to wash a car. Taken on Lawrence between Hamlin and Central Park in Chicago. It was warm enough to go out without gloves, so I went out to start recording the hair salons and barber shops in Albany Park. This is one of them -- and I saw him cleaning the car as I took a quick photo to remember the shop.
2016: A lamb for Easter. Taken on Alta Vista between Byron and Grace in Chicago
2012: Work in the alley. Taken looking towards an alley off of Randolph Ave just west of Michigan Ave.
