2024: Looks Mischievous. Taken at Montrose Harbor.

We took advantage or some southern winds to go to Montrose and found our first towhees, phoebes, and kinglets, sure signs of spring. As we walked to the car, a group of boys were up to something that looked rather mischievous but fun too.

2020: Spring in the garden. Taken on Hamlin between Ainslie and Argyle in Chicago. It was a beautiful spring day for cleaning the yard -- and stopping to take photos of the crocuses that I could almost watch grow and open throughout the day.
2018: Ice cream for a rumbly tummy. Taken on Lawrence between Kedzie and Kimball in Chicago. This girl and her father had just gotten out of their car. She was teasing him that one of them had a “rumbly tummy”, and he laughed and said that was just an excuse for ice cream. And into the ice cream shop they went as I took this photo. My walk today came at a high price -- I dropped my camera on the sidewalk because it is the end of March and I still can’t go out for a walk without gloves. The camera is being sent to be repaired -- let’s hope for the best!
2016: A big yellow robot with hands. Taken on Wacker Drive between Lake and Franklin in Chicago. When I took this photo I saw what it was -- a piece of heavy equipment moving gravel. But when I looked at it later -- it very much looked like a big yellow robot with two very big hands.
2012: At the Chicago Public Library. Taken at the bus stop in front of the Chicago Public Library at Foster and Kimball
