March 24
2024: Well, One of Them is Looking At Me. Taken at Lowell and Wilson.

We enjoyed brunch with Bill, Françoise, and Toma so much that I barely remembered to take out my camera. Liam wasn't too keen about looking at the camera, but Rosie cooperated. Later in the day, we had a further treat, when we went to a fundraiser for the Chicago Bird Alliance that featured flying squirrels. Real flying squirrels, Southern Flying Squirrels to be exact. They live in the trees in the backyard of our host in Evanston. She has a platform feeder in the backyard where she put suet and nuts. On cue, the squirrels flew down for dinner once it was dark. It was so cool. But you will have to take my word for it since it was dark and the squirrels were fast, so no photos.

2020: You have to get outside. Taken on Home Ave. between Lexington and Harvard in Oak Park, IL
2018: Enough is Enough! Taken at the March for Our Lives in Union Park at Randolph and Ogden in Chicago. Lots of great photos today, but none of them can compare to the voices of the young people who spoke and performed today. Violence has been part of their lives for too long. It is great that the March today was so inclusive and brought together so much of the City. Now to build on it and make change in Chicago.
2016: Delivering Beer. Taken on Lawrence Ave between Central Park and Hamlin in Chicago. Only a new camera would have gotten me out in the sleet and snow for a quick walk
2012: Delivering the mail. Taken on Belmont Ave between Racine and Sheffield
