March 23

Despite the cold and windy weather, Mony and I went to Montrose Bird Sanctuary to help with the first beach clean up of the season as we prepared the area for the birds, and hopefully piping plovers. There were not that many of us, so getting an "action shot" didn't happen. Also, I was focused on do my fair share of trash pickup and not taking photos. One of the treats is that we got to go into the area that is usually fenced off for the birds – so this photo is a bird's eye view. And later in the day once we were home, we were rewarded by seeing that the clean up got news coverage and there we were picking up trash. Evidence.
