It was back to Chicago this morning. But while we were having morning coffee before heading to the airport, I couldn't resist going out on the balcony and capturing the street in the early morning light.

Today were the student led walkouts at schools protesting our failure to enact gun reform and make schools and neighborhoods safe. I walked over to Von Stuben High School and North Side Prep to see the walkouts. But by far the best part of the day is the march I ran into on my way there. The students of Peterson Elementary School were marching through the neighborhood. They were great in the way that kids are, and I got some good photos. This is one.2016: Spring has sprung.
