2024: Just a Dusting of Snow. Taken on Shetland Trail in Leelanau County, MI

We had to get up early to get a photo with a dusting of snow before it melted. Mostly things were brown and gray – but as the sign at 9 Bean Bakery stated: "The ground may be dull and grey, but there is a party underground just waiting to spring!"

2020: The fern room. Taken at the Garfield Park Conservatory at Central Park and Lake Streets in Chicago. There is no better place to get away when it is still gray, cold and gloomy outside than the conservatories in Chicago. The fern room at the Garfield Park Conservatory is one of the best.
2018: So young. Taken on Foster between Kedzie and Western in Chicago.
