2024: Going Fishing on the Pier. Taken at Montrose Point in Chicago.

It is another Piping Plover Monitoring shift. My assignment was the Pier, so what I was really doing was marshaling for plovers. That is, my assignment was to make sure no one entered the protected beach from the pier. We are not supposed to take photos while monitoring, but people don't move as fast as birds, so I could do a little photography and do plover marshaling/monitoring.

2020: Watching from the Windows. Taken on Halsted Street between Belmont and Addison in Chicago. Today was a protest against police violence and in support of Black Lives Matter led by the Trans community. We joined the March and these folks watched from their windows.
2018: New members of the family. Taken at home on Hamlin in Chicago. They became new members of the family on Saturday, but I figured I would wait and post a better photo during the week when I had one and pick a day when I didn’t get a chance to get out to take other photos. So here they are looking so innocent and cute: Rosie and Zora.
2016: Climbing. Taken in Lafayette Park at 16th Street in Washington DC.
2012: Taking out the Horses. Taken at an SEIU Janitors' action in downtown Denver.
