2024: Resting While Glamping. Taken in Woodhaven near Sublette, IL

Some of us worked to put up a canopy, others sat and talked and Dulce and Cindy opted for a nap. Thank you to Mona who helped see this photo opportunity.

2020: Nice play at second. Taken at the Elgin Sports Complex in Elgin, IL. Still taken from the “bleachers” in the outfield but both I and Julia have a good bead on the ball.
2018: So calm. Taken along the shorefont in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park between the Overlook and the Dune Climb trail in Leelanau, MI. In contrast to the wind yesterday, the Lake was as calm and quiet as I have ever seen it. So much so, that a fish swimming near the surface left this pattern on the water. I could tell something was swimming, but every time my kayak got close it dove deeper. Finally I got close enough to see that it was not a turtle or an otter -- but a large fish swimming at the top. South Manitou is in the background.
2016: Merganser Chicks. Taken in Lake Michigan in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore at the Bohemian Rd beach. I was swimming and the next thing I knew there were six merganser chicks smimming with me chirping the whole time.
2012: Bus driver. Taken on the shuttle at Denver International Airport.
