2024: Summer Camp. Taken at Montrose Beach in Chicago

We made a quick visit to Montrose Beach this mornign after going there yesterday evening after the Pride Parade and a get together at the house – because the Piping Plovers have hatched. I dont' have any good photos yet – but I took this as we were leaving and summer campers were using the volleyball courts.

2020: When the beaches are closed. Taken on Broadway just north of Aldine in Chicago. I guess when you can’t get a tan at the beach in this summer of COVID, you have to be creative. She even put up a poster with a palm tree! Or maybe it was all about getting some attention.
2018: Change of pace. Taken along Good Harbor Trail just north of Cedar in Leelanau, Michigan. I arrived in Leelanau just as a storm hit. I made Gallagher’s Farm Market my first stop where I waited out most of the storm. Then I made my regular stop at the Cedar Hills Farm stand to get eggs.
2016: Diversions. Taken on Front Street just east of Union St. in Traverse City, Michigan
