January 6
2024: Fight Authoritarianism. Taken on Wacker and Wabash across the river from the Trump Tower.

It is the anniversary of the January 6th insurrection. Two years ago, Indivisible Chicago marked the date with a press event and lit letters that spelled out "RISE UP FOR DEMOCRACY". It was a great action - except that it was about 10 degrees below zero; and we when say "never again" we mean never such an attack on our democracy and never a protest when it is so freezing cold. So this year we tried somethign a little different, and decided to try a projecting our message - "light mischief" as we like to call it. This is the third time we did this, each time a little different, and we learn a little more. Unbenownst to this church, their building created the perfect place to display our message with the Trump tower in the background. Looking forward to more "light mischief" soon.

2020: Random paint or a portrait? Taken on Leland just west of Lincoln Ave. in Chicago
2018: Snow Bird. Taken on Shetland Trail in Leelanau, MI. OK, this is the last snow photo for now at least. I drove back to Chicago today, but took this photo when I went to fill the bird feeder before I left.
2016: On display in the window. Taken on Connecticut Ave between M and N Street in Washington DC.
2012: Experience tells me . . . . Taken at an occupy rally and leafleting at the corner of Michigan Ave. and Wacker Drive.
