2024: He Can Figure It Out. Taken on Circle Ave. just north of Roosevelt in Forest Park, IL.

2024: As we discussed whether we could do a projection action to mark the anniversary of the January 6th Insurrection, Betty said that she "had a guy" who could help us figure out how best to power a projector. So today, Betty and I visited Geoff in his workshop/garage and he showed us how to connect an inverter to the car so we could power the projector, and he helped us rig up the projector in the car so we can project images from the back seat. Stay tuned to see how we use all of this to "Defend Our Democracy", "Fight Authoritarism" and "Welcome Immigrants."

2020: Other duties as assigned. Taken on Kedzie just south of Lawrence in Chicago. It looked like he was using some plastic to keep the gate in front of the restaurant from banging around in the wind today. After taking the photo, I did offer to help.
2018: Old Window. Taken at the Miller Farm off Thoreson Rd on the Bay View Trail in Sleeping Bear Dunes in Leelanau, MI. This is where my shoe shoe hike took me today. The Miller Barn is part of the National Lakeshore and was built sometime between 1855 and 1891. Some of the windows are boarded over, but a few are intact. They and the wood show the character of having withstood many winters including this one.
2016: You can come now. Taken on Massachusetts Ave and 18th St in Washington DC
2012: Waiting for the train. Taken at the red line El Stop at Grand and State.
