2024: That Phogographer Needs an Assistant. Taken on Michigan Ave just north of the Chicago River.

2024: I took a quick walk at lunch today, and the sun was out for a change! The couple caught my eye first – and I couldn't figure out who they had taking their photos. Then I realized that it was their photographer dressed for cold weather and carrying their coats and bags.

2020: Not Their First Anti-War Protest. Taken at Wacker and Wabash across from the Trump Tower in Chicago. There were five people with these signs and Margaret Nelson (on the right) comes to many protest with them. Here she was singing old anti-war songs to the delight of everyone.

2018: More snow. Taken on the Manitou Passage Golf Club near the Sugar Loaf Resort in Leelanau, MI. Hiked back up Old Mountain Road and used my showshoes to go across the Golf Course and up the hill at Sugar Loaf. Lots of snow, wind and cold.
2016: Inside the barber shop. Taken looking into a barber shop on Belmont Ave between Sacramento and Richmond in Chicago. Barbershops are great places to look into. In the evenings they are often the liveliest and brightest places in and around Albany Park. They could make a great project sometime. This place had tons of character -- but I was only on the outside looking in.
2012: Real life is a little different than advertisements. Taken at the Brown/Green line El Stop at Lake and State.
