2024: Surviving the Cold. Taken on Wilson Ave. just west of Western in Chicago.

It was a balmy 13 degrees today. These penguins look a little worse for the wear just like most of the people that I saw out this evening.

2020: Quite a Night to be Out. Taken on Montrose somewhere between Central and Harlem in Chicago. I know what got me out and on the roads tonight. But I can’t help but wonder why everyone else is out in this weather.
2018: Immigrants are welcome here. Taken at the Immigration Rally at the Trump Tower (or as close as we could get). It was really cold which meant that the march from the Daley Center to Trump Tower was a really fast one. Once we got to Trump Tower we made a circle and most took a knee for a “prayer”. No one stayed long and the crowd was small, but it was powerful.

2012: It's the time of year that everyone wears black. Taken at the corner of Montrose and Pulaski.
