2016: She owns the backyard -- after all she has lived here as long as I have. Taken in the backyard on Hamlin Ave in Chicago. Days like today make me wonder why anyone would ever start a photo project like this in January! It is dark at 4:30pm. It is freezing cold. When the sun is out, it is even colder. And work is crazy. So all I managed to do today is take my camera with me between phone calls -- and this is what I took.
