Before it gets colder, we had to take the Christmas tree to the Park to be recycled. There were a mountain of trees – and Liam volunteered to toss ours to the top of the pile.
2020:Recruiting an activist. Taken at the Black Ensemble Theater on Clark just north of Montrose in Chicago2018:Classic Modern. Taken at Open Books on Lake just west of Desplaines in Chicago. Finally a photo that I went out to take instead of shooting at the last minute at night before I went to bed!2016:I guess tey would prefer not to be photographed. Taken on 18th Street between N St. and Massachusetts Ave in Washington DC. When I can, I like to take most of my street photos before people get a chance to react. Sometimes I like that moment when someone first makes eye contact with the camera -- but they don’t get a chance to do anything: to look away, to smile or to say no. But this was one of the times when I took several photos as I was walking to the office - and this was the last one that I took where they clearly saw me. Otherwise it was just another 2 men in suits which there is plenty of in DC. It was the laundry that drew my attention but how they responded that made the photo interesting to me.2012:This is what all the important people drive in DC. Taken in front of the Brookings Institute on Massachusetts Ave, Washington DC
