Welcome to the Holiday Train. Taken on the Green Line on November 24, 2023.
For all the years that I have been riding CTA trains and buses, I never knew there were special holiday trains and buses that ran on certain routes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. That is, I didn't know about them until Liam introduced me to them. This year, we were on the first holiday train that ran on Thanksgiving weekend, to go with the trains we rode last two years (that is the last two years for me – Liam has been riding them much longer). And this year, he took me out and introduced me to the holiday bus! I don't know what is more fun to watch – the families who bring their kids or the people just trying to get somewhere on the train or bus, when they walk in and meet elves, Santa, decorations and candy canes!

Buttons is the elf that Liam would see every year. In 2020, no one could ride the holiday train because of COVID, but Liam was still able to see the train and see Buttons. When I rode the train in 2021, I met Buttons as she finished her final year as a elf.Everyone Wants a Photo. Taken on December 18, 2021.Love the Look.
