2024: Yesterday, It Was a Street. Taken on Montrose just east of Winchester in Chicago.

Usually winter is not constructions season, but this is not a typical winter. The ground is most definitely not frozen, so Montrose Ave. looked like this today.

2020: A lonely walk. Taken on Lawrence Ave between Hamlin and Central Park in Chicago
2018: The Resistance at the Conservatory. Taken at the Lincoln Park Conservatory on Stockton Drive just south of Fullerton in Chicago. The conservatory is a wonderful place in the winter when there is no green anywhere else. She was visiting with her mother -- and I loved her jacket!
2016: Contemplating the donut. Take at Cafe Chien on Spalding and Lawrence in Chicago. Cafe Chien is my Albany Park coffee shop. Today they did a pop up for Gurnee Donuts Ube (purple yam) donuts. I managed to get there early enough to get one and while I enjoyed my donut and latte -- I took this photo. Yes -- they were really good and they were purple!
2012: Waiting for the light to change. Taken at the corner of Michigan Ave. and Lake Street
