2024: Speeding along. Taken in the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona.

In the narrow streets of Barcelona, scooters of all kinds were the preferrred ways of getting around. Sometimes it would be parents with their kids – but other times the kids were on their own.

2020: Making mole. Taken on Home Ave. in Oak Park, IL. Making mole has many steps. I took photos of most of them. Here the bread was being prepared so it could be toasted on the stove before being added to the food processor for the mole,
2018: Families Broken. Taken at the Gary Airport in Gary, Indiana. I took the bus from Jobs with Justice to the Gary Airport to protest the deporting of immigrants. They bring immigrants from the Chicago area and neighboring states to the Gary Airport to deport them. There was a group of about 150 of us protesting today.
