2024: Not Very Welcoming. Taken on W Chino Cnayon Rd in Palm Srpings, CA.

I was on zoom calls most of the day, although I did do some of them outdoors. So it was already late in the afternoon before I could get out for a walk. I decided to got west from the hotel towards the mountain for some something different. As I expected, the homes there were large, expensive, and beautifully landscaped. Many of them probably most of them had some kind of security company sign and more than a few of those signs indicated that the company would engage in an "armed response." However, this place took it one step further with their own metal signs artistically placed in their immaculate yard. There is just so much that is wrong with this.

2020: Rough year. Taken on Lawrence Ave between Hamlin and Central Park in Chicago. As we wind down 2020, some things are definitely worse for the wear. I guess this Lawrence Ave. storefront could have looked like this at any time, but it seems fitting that this is what it looks like now.
2018: Fitness in the sky. Taken on North Ave. at Sheffield in Chicago.
2016: First snow. Taken on Hamlin just north of Lawrence in Chicago.
2012: Fighting with those who are losing their jobs. Taken at a prayer vigil for terminated airport janitors at City Hall in Chicago.
