2024: Enjoying Community. Taken at Gideon Wells at Sunnyside and Lincoln in Chicago.

No postcards this time. But we brought together many of the same people to talk about the election and to plan the action that we will take together. I end up leading and facilitating most of the meeting, so like at the other ones, my only opportunity to take photos is during the section where everyone talks about how they come into the meeting and what they hope to leave with.

2020: Stop -- and Look. Taken on Home Ave. just north of Roosevelt in Oak Park, IL. All year I have been walking past these Stop signs that are tiles in some of the alleys of Oak Park. I noticed them but never photographed them. In the past week Women in Focus did a virtual meeting and Anne Evans showed a series of photos that show the little things that catch her eye that we so often walk by. Her photos were great and included the “stop” signs of Oak Park. So here is my photo -- but really attribute it to Anne’s eye.
2018: A coffee break while roasting coffee. Taken at Bru Coffee on Lawrence just west of Sacramento in Chicago
2016: Lots of character. Taken on Lawrence Ave. just east of Kimball in Chicago.
2012: Blowing out 11 candles. Taken on Julia's Birthday at Stacey's in Morton Grove, IL.
