2024: Starfish. Taken at Chesterman Beach outside of Tofino, BC, Canada.

One of the true wonders of the ocean in the Pacific Northwest are the tidepools. I have enjoyed exploring them in the past on the Oregon Coast and in Olympic National Park. So I was determined to find a place we can could find star fish, anenomes, barnacles, crabs, and mussels. We had gotten several suggestions that didn't pan out – so we made our first stop today Chsterman Beach just outside of Tofino since that was low tide. We were not disappointed. We saw hundreds of star fish and everything else. The best part was sharing them with Mony.

2020: Movers. Taken on Hamlin between Argyle and Ainslie in Chicago. Mony moved some of her things today so we were really busy. The movers were finishing up the paperwork after the move when I took this.
2018: The captain. Taken on South Lake Leelanau in Leelanau County, Michigan. Well, I didn’t take this photo but I directed it, so I think that should count. I am the captain of my little boat which I managed to get in the water, start, pilot the length of the Lake, fish, get back and get it out of the water, all with some help.
2016: Waiting for the bus. Taken on Lawrence Ave. and Hamlin in Chicago.
2012: Reading. Taken at the Belmont EL Stop on the Red Line.
