2024: Free From Shore: Taken from the Ferry at the harbor in Port Angeles, WA.

This was a day of lots of driving: around the Sound from Seattle through Tacoma to Port Angeles, and then the ferry across the Sound to Victoria, and then the drive from Victoria to the west side of the island to Ucluelet where we will spend the next few days. My timing was just a bit off in this photo since I was watching him to see him release the rope as the ferry pushed off in Port Angeles. I was momentarily distracted and gotthis photo just as the rope dropped.

2020: Ice cream once more. Taken on Oak Park Ave just south of Harrison in Oak Park, IL. This is the third photo that I took at Hole in the Wall -- as we all wait patiently for our ice cream.
2018: Queen Anne’s Lace. Taken along Shetland Trail in Leelanau County, Michigan. A sure sign of August in Michigan. I took a walk along our road after driving to Leelanau County. There wasn’t much light left but that made the Queen Anne’s Lace stand out.
