2024: All Alone in the Park. Taken at Wells Park at Sunnyside and Lincoln in Chicago.

It was the first day for the public schools in Chicago and the heat index was around 100. Add to that the fact that I am on day 3 of having COVID --and it was not a great day for photos. The park was empty - no baseball, no softball, and no football – just one person sitting reading.

2020: One of the few people downtown. Taken on Clark Street at Madison in Chicago. Even as business picks up in some places, downtown remains so quiet during the work week. 
2018: Handsmaids with a message, Taken at Federal Plaza at Dearborn between Adams and Jackson in Chicago. The protest today was to Save SCOTUS. Ten Handmaids attended to warn of the threat that the confirmation and these times present. There have been so many rallies, marches and actions. We have to do things that are different -- so today it was the handmaids and the whistles that we blew to “stop” the confirmation.
2016: Cleaning the hard way. Taken on Broadway between Addison and Grace in Chicago.
2012: This is the life. Taken on Keeler St north of Peterson in Chicago.
