This morning I suggested to Mony that she might try to get passes for the Convention so she could take Liam. Mony made some calls – and managed two passes. I was going to watch on TV. Then, in the afternoon when I was attending a Climate Voter reception on behalf of the NWF Action Fund, someone approached a group of us and said they had an extra credential. I immediate snatched it and headed over to the United Center to meet Mony and Liam who were already in line. It was a mess getting inside, but exciting to be there. Michelle Obama was great – and best was her line that most of us "will never benefit from the affirmative action of generational wealth." Mony asked Liam to rate the evening on a scale of 1-10, and he said it was at least an "11". You can't beat that. Now we just need to win in November.
