2020:Happy Birthday from a distance. Taken on Home Ave. between Lexington and Harvard in Oak Park, IL. Everything is from a distance. Today Liam’s cousins, aunt and uncle came to sing happy birthday to him from a safe distance. Earlier in the day, the neighbors did the same - from their front porches and the street.2018:Emmy. Taken at home on Hamlin in Chicago. This is not the best photo of Emmy that I have, but it is the one that I took today -- the day that I said goodbye to her. She was smart, independent, persistent, and sometimes stubborn. We could relate to each other. And she was the only cat that I know who would play fetch -- although only when she wanted and on her terms. She was very much loved. She will be missed. 2016:That looks scary to me. Taken on Montrose between Kedzie and Central Park in Chicago.2012:What do you think? Taken on 14th Street north of Q in Washington DC.
