As I was walking through Wells Park, I saw these kids with their kites. Then as I crossed to walk home, they walked towards Gideon Wells. The kites had to be tamed before entering the restaurant.
2020:Mushrooms. Taken on Hamlin between Ainslie and Argyle in Chicago. It was cold and rainy and staying inside was more appealing than going out. I am growing mushrooms in a kit where all I have to do is add water. And here are the mushrooms ready for harvesting.2018: Rite of spring. Taken on the Clark Street bridge at the River just north of Wacker in Chicago. I was walking to the theater and watched as they were raising the bridges to let through the first of the sailboats. That is a sure sign of spring and the coming of summer, although it was 40 degrees today and didn’t feel like it.2016: Recycling the hard way.
