You can barely tell from these photos – but today is my Birthday. Mony and Liam took me to dinner, and because it was my birthday, Liam said he would be my valet. He held the umbrella for me, but once we got to the car, he couldn't figure out how to close the umbrella. I should have been helping him – but instead I took photos of his efforts. Mony was still getting in on the drivers side – so I ended up taking the photos through the rain covered window.
2020: Construction continues. Take on Ainslie between Central and Kimball in Chicago. It it hard to know what is considered as essential business and who is even making that decision. He was working on tuckpointing - among the shadows cast by trees that are just at the very beginning of getting their leaves.2018: Look at that. Taken on Washington Ave and Greene Ave in Brooklyn, New York. I had a number of photos that could have easily posted here. But the look on their faces is just too good. They were in the playground with a class of other kids -- and they were all wearing bright yellow vests which is what caught my eye. I am not sure what caught theirs.2016: A great way to start the day. Taken looking out on Lake Michigan from Pyramid Point in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Leelanau County, MI. The Lake was as calm and peaceful as it gets and the colors were so beautiful and I had Pyramid Point to myself. A great way to start by birthday.2012:At the airport. Taken at National Airport in Washington DC
