2024: Those Colors are Real. Taken at Montrose Point in Chicago.

It was colder and windier at the Lake than we expected. And the birds were mostly hiding, at least from us. But between the rain and dark skies, the sun kept popping out. And as the caption to the photo says – those are exactly the colors of the the sky and Lake.

2020: Tough Love. Taken on Monticello just west of Central Park near the Chicago River. She is well masked. She told me that she made the mask from an old t-shirt.
2018: Perfect swing. Taken at Main South HS on Dee Rd just north of Higgens in Park Ridge, IL. I arrived at the game a little late, then had trouble finding the field. I got there just as they completed the bottom of the first inning. Julia was leading off in the second. This is the first pitch to her and the first photo that I took. The result was a home run over the fence.
2016: Walking across the plaza. Taken at the Bethesda Metro Stop in Bethesda, MD. This was a frustrating day. I went out to get tea over lunch and although I took my camera, I was busy talking and didn’t take it out. However that didn’t stop me from seeing three photos that I wanted to take and were better than this. But I figured that I could find something later. I ended up in Bethesda for dinner -- but there wasn’t much interesting there. At least the light was interesting when I took this.
