April 1

There was just a few minutes to take Mia and my camera out before the rain started. Fortunately at the end our block I got this photo at the little free library.

2020: Postal Worker During a Pandemic. Taken on Ainslie at Kimball in Chicago. Every day there are workers who continue to go out and risk exposure to do their jobs. Postal workers included.
2018: A throwback in Uptown. Taken on Broadway just south of Lawrence in Chicago. Uptown looks a feels different these days. With the new EL stop at Wilson, the new tracks and the new store fronts like Target -- some of the things that made that stretch of Broadway between Lawrence and Montrose are gone -- and nothing with any character has taken its place. There are still some of the old spots like Uptown Bikes, the Ace Hardware and the Pancake House that are still there -- but now they feel more like they don’t belong.
2016: The magic of the City. Taken Taken on Lake Street between Wabash and State in Chicago
2012: What am I missing? Taken at the Lakefront at Wilson.
